Hello, I'm Laura Sky Salmon...
Back in 1994, I became the Storyteller for a green theatre group and began taking local folk on story-walks through green spaces, meeting characters on our way. I travelled through the Wilds of the Westcountry, researching and sharing the Tales I found there. Since then I have led many workshops to connect people of all ages and a wide range of needs, with the wonders of the Living World around us, as well as the Landscape within our imaginations. I am qualified as an Arts Facilitator, Forest School Leader, Play-leader, Meditation and NatureWell facilitator and share my nature connection and story sessions in a range of settings: From Community Garden Projects, to Home Education Groups to Continued Professional Development Days for Adults, to Festivals, Schools and Fireside Gatherings. This is a safe and playful space to explore Stories of Place. I invite you to connect with Nature, using the NatureWell (c) approach, offering tools and inspirations to help you develop your own way of Storytelling.
Storytelling is a transferable skill and an ancient way of sharing in community.
Story Ways sessions can be adapted to any setting but are most suitable where some Green Space is accessible so we can go on a walk locally and connect with Nature directly.
